Ceramic to metal brazing - vacuum tube / thermionic valve device
High purity vacuum grade brazing filler metals are available for this type of application. Because brazing tends to take place in a furnace or in some other enclosed space preplacement of the brazing filler metal is essential. Johnson Matthey can supply a wide range of pre-formed rings, pressed, punched and stamped parts for application to the assembly prior to heating.
